म्यांमार के रोहिंग्या मुसलमानों को लेकर भारत में भी कई मुस्लिम संगठन उनके समर्थन में विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। इस क्रम में कोलकाता में भी रोहिंग्यों के समर्थन में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया गया। कोलकाता में मुसलमानो ने सर्कस पार्क से लेकर रानी राशमॉनी रोड तक 5 किलोमीटर का जुलूस निकला।

इन्ही में से एक शिया मौलाना शब्बीर अली अजाद वारसी ने जनसभा को संबोधित करते हुए चेताबनी भरे लहजे में कहा कि अगर मुस्लिम अल्पसंख्यक हैं तो क्या वे कमजोर हैं? तुम अभी मुसलमानों का इतिहास नहीं जानते हो। हम लोग शिया मुसलमान हैं, हम 72 भी होते हैं तो भी लाखों को मार सकते हैं।
मौलाना ने केंद्र सरकार को धमकी देते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली में बैठी सरकार से कहना चाहता हूं कि रोहिंग्या मुसलमान भी हमारे भाई हैं। तुम यह सोचने की भूल मत करना कि रोहिंग्या मुसलमान हम भारतीय मुसलमानों से अलग हैं।

मौलाना ने कहा जो खून उनका है वहीं खून हमारा भी है और जो खुदा उनका है वह खुदा हमारा भी है, दुनिया में मुसलमान कहीं भी हो हम सभी भाई हैं। बंगाल से रोहिंग्या मुसलमानों को निकालने की कोशिश मत करना। ये बंगाल है, असम, गुजरात, उत्तर प्रदेश, मुजफ्फरपुर या मुजफ्फरनगर नहीं जो तुम यहां से रोहिंग्या मुसलमानों को डरा कर भगा दोगे।
यहां मौजूद मीडिया के सामने मैं चुनौती देता हूं कि किसी की मां ने वो औलाद नहीं जनी जो मुसलमानों को बंगाल से निकालकर दिखा दे। अगर ऐसा ही चलता रहा तो हम इससे भी बड़ा जुलूस लेकर दिल्ली पहुंच जाएंगे और एक नया इतिहास रच देंगे।
