कोई धर्म या समुदाय कब तक सुरक्षित रह सकता है या माना जा सकता है ? इस सवाल का जबाब हम सभी जानते हैं, लेकिन इस सवाल का जबाब सभी लोग अपने-अपने तरीके से देना चाहेंगे। इसका एक जवाब यह भी हो सकता है कि यदि आपके धर्म का कोई राष्ट्र नहीं है तो आप इंतजार कीजिए अपने धर्म को खोने का और एक दिन ऐसा जरूर आएगा जब आपको अपने धर्म के अस्तित्व को बचाने की जद्दोजहद से जूझना पड़ेगा।

इसका दूसरा जवाब यह भी हो सकता है कि यदि आपके धर्म के लोगों की जन्मदर कम होती जा जाएगी तो निश्चित ही आपके पास लड़ने के लिए सैनिक नहीं होंगे। और जब सैनिक नहीं होंगे तो युद्ध की स्थिति में आपको हार का मुँह देखना पड़ सकता है और हार का मतलब है आपके धर्म पर अत्याचार।
तीसरा जवाब यह है कि यदि आपका धर्म आपको अहिंसा और सहिष्णुता सिखा रहा है तो निश्चित ही आप एक दिन खुद को घिरा हुआ पाएंगे।
इसका चौथा जवाब यह हो सकता है कि धर्म से बढ़कर है इंसानियत। खून-खराबे से कभी किसी को कुछ भी हासिल नहीं हुआ है।

इसका पांचवां जवाब यह हो सकता है कि जनसंख्या या राष्ट्र के होने से बढ़कर जरूरी है विकास और तकनीक में उक्त समुदाय का आगे होना।
अब आप किसी भी जवाब को अपना जवाब बना सकते हैं। वामपंथियों के पास सभवत: और भी अद्भुत जवाब हो सकते हैं।
दुनिया की आबादी लगभग 7 अरब से ज्यादा है जिसमें से 2.2 अरब ईसाई और सवा अरब मुसलमान हैं और लगभग इतने ही बौद्ध। पूरी दुनिया में ईसाई, मुस्लिम, यहूदी और बौद्ध राष्ट्र अस्तित्व में हैं। हालांकि प्रथम 2 ही धर्म की नीतियों के कारण उनका कई राष्ट्रों और क्षेत्रों पर दबदबा कायम है।
उक्त धर्मों की छत्रछाया में कई जगहों पर अल्पसंख्यक अपना अस्तित्व खो चुके हैं या खो रहे हैं तो कुछ जगहों पर उनके अस्तित्व को बचाने के प्रयास किए जा रहे हैं। इसके अलावा भी ऐसे कई मामले हैं जिसमें उक्त धर्मों के दखल न देने के बावजूद वे धर्म अपना अस्तित्व खो रहे हैं।
आइये अब बात करते है पूरी दुनिया में हिन्दू धर्म के अस्तित्व पर मंडराते संकट की…
एक जानकारी के मुताबिक पूरी दुनिया में अब मात्र 13.95 प्रतिशत हिन्दू ही बचे हैं। नेपाल कभी एक हिन्दू राष्ट्र हुआ करता था लेकिन वामपंथ के वर्चस्व के बाद अब वह भी धर्मनिरपेक्ष राष्ट्र है। कभी दुनिया के आधे हिस्से पर हिन्दुओं का शासन हुआ करता था, लेकिन आज कहीं भी उनका शासन नहीं है। अब वे एक ऐसे देश में रहते हैं, जहां के कई हिस्सों से ही उन्हें बेदखल किए जाने का क्रम जारी है, साथ ही उन्हीं के उप संप्रदायों को गैर हिन्दू घोषित कर उन्हें आपस में बांटे जाने की साजिश भी जारी है।

अब भारत में भी हिन्दू जाति कई क्षेत्रों में अपना अस्तित्व बचाने में लगी हुई है। इसके कई कारण हैं क्योंकि जरूरी नहीं है कि यह एक धार्मिक समस्या ही हो, लेकिन इससे इनकार भी नहीं किया जा सकता। आप तर्क द्वारा इसे धार्मिक समस्या से अलग कर सकते हैं।
मलेशिया में ख़त्म होता हिन्दुओं का अस्तित्व-
मलेशिया वर्तमान में एक मुस्लिम राष्ट्र है लेकिन पहले ये एक हिन्दू राष्ट्र था। मलय प्रायद्वीप का दक्षिणी भाग मलेशिया देश के नाम से जाना जाता है। इसके उत्तर में थाइलैण्ड, पूर्व में चीन का सागर तथा दक्षिण और पश्चिम में मलाक्का का जलडमरूमध्य है।
मलेशिया कभी हिन्दू राष्ट्र हुआ करता था। बाद में यहां बौद्धों का वर्चस्व बढ़ा और फिर यहां इस्लाम का प्रवेश हो गया। वर्तमान में मलेशिया एक मुस्लिम बाहुल्य देश है लेकिन यहां हिन्दुओं की जनसंख्या अब करीब 6.5 प्रतिशत ही रह गई है जबकि कुछ वर्ष पहले तक ये 13 प्रतिशत होते थे।
मलेशिया की जनसंख्या ढाई करोड़ से अधिक है। यहां मलय वंश के लोगों की संख्या लगभग 55 प्रतिशत है। यह सभी मुस्लिम मजहब के अनुयायी हैं। बौद्धों की संख्या 33 प्रतिशत और हिन्दू 13 से घटकर 6.5 ही बचे हैं जबकि अन्य भारतीयों को मिलाकर यह 9 प्रतिशत हैं।

उत्तर मलेशिया में बुजांग घाटी तथा मरबाक के समुद्री किनारे के पास पुराने समय के अनेक हिन्दू तथा बौद्ध मंदिर आज भी हैं। अंग्रेजों की गुलामी से 1957 में मुक्त हुआ। वहां पहाड़ी पर बटुकेश्वर का मंदिर है जिसे बातू गुफा मन्दिर कहते हैं। वहां पहुंचने के लिए लगभग 276 सीढ़ियां चढ़नी पड़ती हैं। पहाड़ी पर कुछ प्राचीन गुफाएं भी हैं। पहाड़ी के पास स्थित एक बड़े मंदिर देखने में हनुमानजी की भी एक भीमकाय मूर्ति लगी है।
अफगानिस्तान में ख़त्म होता हिन्दुओं का अस्तित्व-
अफगानिस्तान पहले एक हिन्दू राष्ट्र था। बाद में बौद्ध वर्चस्व वाला राष्ट्र बना और इसके बाद खलिफाओं के नेतृत्व में इसका इस्लामिकरण हुआ। पठान पख्तून होते हैं। पठान को पहले पक्ता कहा जाता था। ऋग्वेद के चौथे खंड के 44वें श्लोक में भी पख्तूनों का वर्णन ‘पक्त्याकय’ नाम से मिलता है। इसी तरह तीसरे खंड का 91वें श्लोक आफरीदी कबीले का जिक्र ‘आपर्यतय’ के नाम से करता है।
कभी हिंदू और सिख अफगान समाज का समृद्ध तबका हुआ करता था और देश में उनकी आबादी लगभग 25 प्रतिशत से ज्यादा हुआ करती थी। अब मुट्ठीभर ही बचे हैं। 1992 में काबुल में तख्तापलट के वक्त तक काबुल में कभी 2 लाख 20 हजार हिंदू और सिख परिवार थे। अब 220 रह गए हैं।

पूरे अफगानिस्तान में अब लगभग 1350 हिन्दू परिवार रही बचे हैं। कभी ये पूरे अफगानिस्तान में फैले हुए थे लेकिन अब बस नांगरहार, गजनी और काबुल के आसपास ही बचे हैं और वहां से सुरक्षित जगह निकलने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं।
अफगान सरकार, यूएनओ और अंतरराष्ट्रीय वर्ग ने कभी इन्हें बचाने या इन अफगानी हिन्दूऔ सिखों के अधिकार की बात कभी नहीं की जिसके चलते इनका अस्तित्व लगभग खत्म होने की कगार पर ही है। हालांकि आज जो अफगानी मुस्लिम हैं वे कभी हिन्दू, सिख या बौद्ध ही हुआ करते थे।
